TRAVEL CARD

If you often find yourself traveling the world with your precious gemstones, then you must know what it’s like to carry stacks of gemstone reports and certifications. While certifications from a reputable laboratory are crucial to everyone in the jewelry and gemstone industry, it may not be the most convenient. Wrinkles, tears, and creases – not to mention how long it takes to dig through the entire pile to find the right report – are the struggles that one may have to face. Those who want a handy, portable report for their gemstones, ICA | GemLab’s Travel Card is the right product for you.

IDENTIFICATION REPORT

When it comes to the jewelry and gemstone market, verifying its authenticity is crucial to the evaluation of gemstones.

The ICA | GemLab Identification Report is a comprehensive bi-fold report issued to identify various types of colored gemstones and determine its trade name & color wherever possible. With a host of advanced instruments ready at our laboratory, our gemologists can assess the authenticity of a gemstone and detect whether it has undergone any treatments or enhancements. Detailed descriptions of the gemstone such as species, variety, weight, dimensions, cut, shape, color and trade name are provided on the identification report. A high-definition photo of the stone is also included with a holographic ICA | GemLab certification sticker alongside a QR verification code as an extra security measure.

ORIGIN REPORT

Knowing the origin of your stone can go a long way in terms of market prices. If you’ve recently got your hands on an exquisite colored gemstone but don’t know where it was sourced from, send them our way and we’ll issue an Origin Report for you.

The Origin Report is a thorough bifold report that goes one step further by providing information on a gemstone’s origin. Our advanced technology and gemologist’s expertise enable us to determine more than 40 geographical deposits. With the comprehensive database we have built over the years, each colored stone is crosschecked, then an origin is determined by identifying distinctive inclusion qualities. In addition, a high-quality photo of your gemstone is provided alongside a QR verification code and holographic ICA | GemLab certification sticker.

PREMIUM REPORT

Encased in a lush trifold leather folder, the Premium Report is a four-page report containing information that caters specifically to your gemstone or jewelry set. A large blow-up photo in top-quality resolution rests between a factsheet and an article on your item. The effective partition of results in a stylish and sophisticated design while preventing clusters of information. Written in the format of a lifestyle article, the 400 to 600-word customizable report delves into the background of your stone or jewelry set. We provide information on mythical and religious associations, the origin and deposit, as well as any other unique facts attributed to that particular item. The goal is to introduce the stone showcasing its scarcity and extraordinary story.

MONOGRAPH REPORT

Every gemstone collector will own a couple stones in their safe they cherish dearly. Whether it’s a pigeon blood ruby, or a Paraiba tourmaline, these precious gems deserve the limelight.

The highlight of our services is a hardback monograph surrounding your gemstone comprising over 6,000 words. It is a compendium of knowledge home to content including origin deposit, sociology, history, mythology, gemology, chemistry, microphotography and much more. Flipping through the pages, a photo spread of inclusions, spectrographs, and gemstone photography captures the beauty of your stone from all perspectives, bestowing it visual immortality.
